[Bitop Review] the Russia-Ukraine conflict damaged Russian refining capacity, causing oil prices to rebound. Here's today's crude oil market analysis!

2025年09月02日发布

US crude oil prices rebounded in Asian trading on Tuesday (September 2nd), reaching $64.82. Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that he would continue to launch deeper strikes against Russian energy facilities to weaken its economic foundation. Meanwhile, Russia has stepped up airstrikes against Ukrainian energy and transportation infrastructure. This has heightened global supply concerns and supported the rebound in oil prices.

In addition to geopolitical developments, Asian countries' energy market trends are also attracting widespread attention. At a recent summit with their Russian and Indian counterparts, leaders of major Asian countries proposed establishing a new economic and security order that prioritizes the "Global South," a move that could further exacerbate geopolitical tensions. Market focus is also on the upcoming OPEC+ meeting on September 7th. Investors are eager to see whether the organization will consider further production increases to address potential supply gaps and price volatility.

On the daily chart, crude oil prices have re-established short-term support at $64.50. If this level holds, it could potentially test resistance between $66.80 and $67.30. A pullback could lead to key support at $63.80. Technical indicators show the MACD is forming a golden cross at a low level, while the RSI has rebounded to neutral levels, suggesting a recovery in short-term bullish momentum.

Overall, today's trading strategy for crude oil is: Go long below $64.80-64.60, with a stop-loss at $64.05 and a take-profit at $65.50-66.
